WCCG artist take part in SEAS Open Studios 2010

South East Artists Open Studios

July 3/4th 10/11th and 17/18th

Open Studios is being run concurrently with the Deal Music Festival and takes place over the first three weekends in July, during the Deal Festival of Music and Arts, a major local cultural event. Artists and craftmakers from, Deal, Eastry, Ringwould, Worth and Walmer invite the public into their studios to meet the artists, look at their work and talk about art. Most items will be for sale and commissions can be negotiated.

This year a group of us will be exhibiting and demonstrating at the Astor Community Theatre in Stanhope Road, Deal for the 2nd and 3rd weekends.

The guide book to accompany the event, listing the artists taking part, with easy to follow maps and directions, will be available from many local outlets including library, tourist information centres.

We are Volunteers

The White Cliffs Creatives Guild Core Group are a volunteer team, whose various responsibilties were defined at the last AGM. Event organisation, funding, exhibition management, publicity and community projects are key areas for development, and the team will be working together to take the WCCG to new heights in the coming year. The Charlton Art Centre

An extensive gallery with changing exhibitions of art and craftwork, project areas and artist studios. We are located on the upper floor of the Charlton Shopping Centre, High Street, Dover, Kent. Ample parking is available in the multi-storey car park behind.

This is a community based Art Centre featuring work by local artists and craftworkers, from well-established professionals, to local art groups, students and young people. Visit the Centre to view the Gallery, meet the artists, see working demonstrations, and attend regular workshops.
The Gallery is managed by the White Cliffs Creatives Guild .

Welcome to The White Cliffs Creatives' Guild

The WCCG is a not-for-profit membership organisation dedicated to promoting arts and crafts activities in the Dover District and beyond.

Launched in September 2007, and run by an elected committee, it aims to develop partnerships with local businesses and organisations which will enable artists and craftspeople, performers and musicians to display or perform their work.
